He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Yates and Lillian Yates. He is survived by: his wife Mary Shouse; his children, Tonya Jesse of Shelbyville, Keith (Waddy), Lorie Cox of LaCenter, Jeannie Yates of Shelbyville and Bill Yates of Louisville; and his sisters, Blanche Bradley of Louisville and Martha Lunsford (Billy) of Sunman, IN. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
