She was predeceased by: her parents, John Rice and Emma Rose Smith Rice; and her former husband Eugene Wesley Miller. She is survived by: her husband Nolan Smith of Shelbyville; and her children, Terry Miller (Jeanne) of Louisville, Keith Miller (Jennifer) of Shelbyville, Carmen Hardin (Steve) of Knoxville, Winifred Tatum (Drew) of Lawrenceburg and Ellazane Miller of Bagdad. She is also survived by her eleven grandchildren and her twenty great-grandchildren.
