It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gerleen Nickell of Shelbyville, Kentucky, born in West Liberty, Kentucky, who passed away on December 20, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Jones and Mariah Elizabeth Gevedon Jones; her husband James Merle Nickell; and her siblings, Harold Jones, Harry Curtis Jones (Buck), Ray Jones, John Jones, Kathleen Jones and Pauline Jones Sias.

She is survived by: her children, Jan and Tim Nickell (Yolanda) of Shelbyville, KY; her grandchildren, Will Gray, Kelly Claire Gray, James Nickell, Alex Nickell, John Nickell and Timmy Nickell; and her brother-in-law Lynn Nickell of West Liberty, KY. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
