He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Roberts Harper and Lester Harper; his grandparents, Silas and Maggie Harper; his wife Vonda O'Nan Harper; his stepmother LouAnn Harper; his sister Bobbye Sharp; his daughter Judy Harper Gross; and his stepchildren, Connie Dunavan McIntosh and George Lee Dunavan.
He is survived by: his daughter Ann Harper George (Mike); his grandchildren, Haley George Newton (Josh) and Hunter Gross (Lyndsey); and his stepgrandchildren, Melissa McIntosh Raiser (Bryan), Tonya McIntosh Marion, Chip McIntosh (Priscilla), Lee Tyler Dunavan, Jaclyn Dunavan Roth (Adam) and Christina Noel Dunavan. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Webb Funeral Home (1144 Main St, Shelbyville, KY 40065). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 1:15 PM at the Defoe Cemetery (4098 Cedarmore Rd, Pleasureville, KY 40057).
