She was predeceased by: her parents, Sarah Elizabeth Webb and James Aaron Higgins; her spouse Shelby Miles Stone; her siblings, Dorothy Jackson, Richard Higgins, Jimmy Higgins and Roy Higgins; and her siblings-in-law, Flo Higgins, Claudett Higgins, Arthur Jackson, Sam Newton and Larry McNeal.
She is survived by: her sons, Brian Stone (Lamonia) of Shelbyville, Derrick Stone of Shelbyville and Anthony Stone of Shelbyville; her grandchildren, Brian Stone, Jr. (Jamie Bradley), Jalen Stone and Tarryn Stone; and her siblings, Charles Higgins (Brenda) of Shelbyville, Edward Higgins of Louisville, Lena Newton of Shelbyville and Barbara McNeal of Louisville. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, relatives, and friends.
