She was predeceased by: her father Charles Ford; and her siblings, Robert, Larry Ford and Jean Hayes. She is survived by: her children, Lisa Wakefield (Tyrone), Terry Ford and Rhonda Gaither (Darrell); her mother Ella Payne Ford; her sisters, Lynda Hinkle (Wesley), Mae Ford and Ann Neal; and her grandchildren, Rachel White (Mychal), Dominique Thompson, Terree Ford, Keyshia Patterson, LaDontae Thompson, Terry Ford, Jr., Courtney Wakefield and Michael Rivers, Jr.. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
