He is survived by: his wife Mary Faye Ethington of Shelbyville; his son Tim Ethington of Shelbyville; his grandchildren, Basil Hardy, Bennett Hardy, Tate Hardy, Ivy Hardy and Byron Hardy; his son-in-law Tripp Hardy; his siblings, Bob Ethington (Patty), Jake Ethington (Wanda), Jimmie Ethington and Patty Vest (Bobby); his sister-in-law Linda Ethington; his aunt Martha Whiles; and his nieces, Andrea and Jamie. He is also survived by numerous sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
