Ellis of Shelbyville, Mentie Frances Thompson of Lexington, Fannie Rea Covington of Lexington and Florence Covington of Milwaukee, WI; his nieces and nephews, Amy L. Allen, Lindsey Allen II and Elisabeth A. Dawkins; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Carlos Wells, Jr., Heaven L. Wells, Jayden Allen and Arianna Allen; and his sister-in-law Vivian C. Allen of Louisville.
