He is survived by: his wife Zona Ann Houchens Patterson of Shelbyville; his children, Sharon Warner (Hite Hays) of Louisville, Clayton Doyle Patterson (Debbie) of Carrollton, Connie Ann Kendall (Joe) of Shelbyville, Mary "M. J." Gaines (David) of Shelbyville, Clifford Wiley Patterson of Carrollton and Arlene Self (Carl) of Simpsonville; his stepson Mitchell Houchens (Wanda) of Louisville; his sister Imogene Bishop of London; his granddaughter Christy Draque; and his sisters-in-law, Wanda Faye Miracle Patterson of London, Kim Clark Patterson of London and Peggy Steble Patterson of London. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
