He is survived by: his wife Virginia Ruth Douglas Mitchell of Shelbyville; his daughters, Rebecca Hirst (Tim) of Shelbyville and Patty Winsor (Seth Wilkinson) of Frankfort; his grandchildren, Brianna Moore, Kirsten Whitehouse, Dylan Riddell and Lucas Winsor; and his great grandchildren, Jaeden, Ayahna, T. J., Isabella, Abigail and Clara.
