He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel K. Jones and Hester J. Jones (Gibson); his wife Jacquelyn Jones (Mullins); his sister Nancy L. Ford; and his grandchildren, Michael R. Edwards and Baby Brown.
He is survived by: his daughters, Robbye (Donnie Edwards), Cheryl (Joe Calvert) and Kelly (Aaron Brown); his grandchildren, Nathan (Ashleigh Edwards), Aaron (Brandy Edwards), Joseph P. Calvert, Austin (Brittany Brown) and Hannah (Eric Quinn); his great grandchildren, Calleb, Callan, Cohen Edwards and Isaiah Edwards; his sister Shirley A. Lippolis; his nephews, Dean and Victor Villani; and his godson Nicholas Schade. He is also survived by sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; many nieces and nephews.
