It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billie Sue Abbott (Shelbyville, Kentucky), who passed away on March 8, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Gearheart and Rachel Gearheart (Roberts). She is survived by: her husband Keith Abbott of Shelbyville; her sons, Richard Keith Abbott of New Albany, David Ross Abbott (Sue) of Frankfort and Billy Ray Abbott (Penny) of Jackson County; her grandchildren, Johnathan Abbott, Martha Sowders (Ricky), Andrew Abbott (Maddie), Jennifer Shaw (William), Jessica Bently and Shannon Lynn Martin (Brian); her great grandchildren, Kelsey Sowders, Isaiah Sowders, Benjamin Sowders, Malta Abbott, Korbin Shaw, Karis Shaw and Amara Clay Horn; and her daughters, Mary Jane Abbott and Jamie Mays.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be given to Hosparus Health or to Graefenburg Christian Church.
