He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harold David and Valeriene Gullett Murray; his children, Ashley Shields (Seth), Gabrielle Murray (Tyler Davidson) and Gavin Murray; his grandchildren, Maxston Shields, Kason Shields and Scarlett Davidson; his siblings, Elaine Murray McClain (James), David Murray (Martha), Dianne James (Dwayne) and Arthur "Dale" Murray (April); and his pet Moxy. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
