With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Anthony Asay Sr. of Shelbyville, Kentucky, born in Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on April 7, 2021 at the age of 49. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent "Vince" and Linda Abrams Asay; and his son Anthony Douglas Asay, Jr. (Davis Asay). He is survived by: his wife Valerie Dunn Asay of Shelbyville; his children, Ashley Asay of Pleasureville, Tiffany Asay of LaGrange and Vincent Jefferson Asay of Taylorsville; his stepsons, Phillip Michael Booth of Pleasureville and Derek Everet McGill; his siblings, Richard "Ricky" Asay (Michelle) of Taylorsville, Wanda Asay (Harold) of Harrodsburg and Catherine Ramirez of Shelbyville; and his grandson Jonathan Asay of Pleasureville. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
