He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Columbus Gray and Myrtle Annie Hedges Gray of Shelbyville; his siblings, Lillian Gray Richardson (N. T. "Red), Mary Gray Gravett (Ralph), Annie Austin Gray, Wilson C. "Bam" Gray, Marshall T. "Jack" Gray, Samuel D. "Bo" Gray and Walter F. "Frenchie" Gray; and his niece Annie Lee Gravett Jacobi.
He is survived by: his brother William P. "Whitie" Gray (Bonnie Burks) of Shelby County; his cousin Dorothy C. "Dottie" Gray of Louisville, Kentucky; his nieces and nephews, Sam Gray (Sue) of Shelbyville, Adriel Solomon Gray (Alisha) of Louisville, Patricia Richardson Smith of Stephens City, Virginia, Patsy Gray Lewis (Toby) of Spencer County, Loretta Lee and Gray Kennedy (Patrick) of Spencer County; and also, Johann Weiss, Michael Barko and Karen Brooks.
