He was predeceased by: his fathers, Miles Charles and Marvin; his wife Madlin Adkins Thacker; his son Bert Alan Thacker; and his siblings, Jo Ann Dotson, Nina Mae Gleckler, Hattie Gray, Elsie Whitaker, Irene Prater, Mrytle Thacker, Harry, Arnett, Dennis, Zach and Buford Thacker.
He is survived by: his children, Charlotte Hall, Marilyn T. Justice (Jerry) and Stephen Thacker (Tonya); and his sisters, Blanche Wemlinger and Madge Parsley. He is also survived by Seven Grandchildren; Five Great Grandchildren.
