He was predeceased by: his parents, John Calvin Hopkins and Mellie Hall Hopkins; his wife Christine Adkins Hopkins; and his son Jackie Dale Hopkins. He is survived by: his children, Annetta Mullins (James), Luther Dwayne Hopkins (Wanda), Louie David Hopkins, Brian Keith Hopkins (Connie), Angela Larry and Christopher Hopkins (Tabitha); and his siblings, Lee Ray Hopkins, Joe Edward Hopkins, Judy McCoy and Florine Nicholas. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, family and friends.
