He was predeceased by: his wife Myra Adkins Thacker; his sons, Jimmy Ray Thacker and Ronnie Dean Thacker; his children-in-law, Alfred Dale Kendrick and Tammy Slone Thacker; his grandson Derek Shane Thacker; and his siblings, Sylvia Prater, Paul Arnold Thacker and Danny Thacker.
He is survived by: his children, Louetta Kendrick, Terry Wayne Thacker (April) and Kenneth Howard Thacker (Jayna); and his siblings, Betty Lou Meade, Donald Thacker and Jimmy Thacker. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, and fourteen great grandchildren.
