It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glenn Franklin Blackburn of Shelbiana, Kentucky, who passed away on February 27, 2025, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Glenn Franklin departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Glenn Franklin. Though Glenn Franklin may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his father Tommy Blackburn. He is survived by: his mother Velma "Thacker" Blackburn; his brothers, Tommy James Blackburn and Larry Dean Blackburn; his nieces, Tabitha Faith Blackburn and Katelyn Elizabeth Reynolds; and his nephew Larry Thomas Blackburn.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM and on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Thacker Memorial Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM.
