It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fay Reese Elswick of Shelbiana, Kentucky, who passed away on December 29, 2022, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Edward Reese; her husband Elmer Ersil Elswick; her daughter Sylvia Quillin; her grandson Marty Quillin; her siblings, Ray, Bobby Reese, Mossy, Mamie, Vesta, Ruth, Pauline and Florence; and her daughter-in-law Glenda Elswick.
She is survived by: her children, James Edward Elswick of Southport, NC, John Bill Elswick (Nancy) of Shelbiana, KY and Janice Fay Davis (Doug) of Coeburn, VA; her grandchildren, Kathy, Donna, Paula, James E., James D., John, Leigh Ann, Jason and Steven; her great grandchildren, Heather, Zachary, Wesley, Chase, Haleigh, Emily, Kaitllen, Patrick, Chloe and Adam; her son-in-law John Quillin of Bristol, VA; her niece Fay Murphy (Miranda Skeens); and her caregivers, Helen Thacker, Roberta Newsome and Christina Castle.
