She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Adkins and Barbara Alice Blackburn Adkins; her husband Russell Patrick; her former husband Curtis Thacker; and her siblings, Claymon Adkins, Roma Birchfield, Wilma Adkins and Rosemary Hill.
She is survived by: her children, Kirby Thacker, Pamela Adkins (Burl) and Angela Carroll (Lloyd); and her siblings, Sandra Gail Justice, Abram Adkins and Bradford Adkins. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren.
