She was predeceased by: her parents, James William and Sarah Johnson Hatton. She is survived by: her husband John Townsend of Sharpsburg, KY; her sons, Deron Sexton of Judy, KY and Barry Sexton of Morehead, KY; her brother Jimmy Hatton (Barbara) of Carlisle, KY; and her grandchildren, Barry Sexton, Jr., Sarah Sexton and William David Sexton.
