He was predeceased by: his parents, Flem Shaffner Bussell and Thelma Vance Bussell; his sons, David Allison and Bobby Allison; and his siblings, Marvin Bussell, Avery Bussell, Juanita Buckler, Artie Williams, Cleotis "Okie" Hunt, EmmaLee Watkins, Audrey Perry, Nora Mitchell, Mollie Dailey (Donald) of Arizona and Dora Bussell.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Henderson Bussell; his daughter Ashley Bussell (Can Huff); and his grandchildren, Erica Allison, Nicholas Allison and Elmer Allison. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
