Sylvia Laurine Segers Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sylvia Laurine Segers of Sharon Grove, Kentucky, who passed away on August 24, 2021, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Shemwell and Erman Blake Shemwell; her former husband James Willis; her husband Jessie Edward "Ed" Segers; her son Carl Thomas Willis; and her siblings, Clark Shemwell, Marie Bryant, Martha Helen Mallory and Margaret Maxwell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Fillis Wells of Elkton and Velda Jane Bradshaw of Russellville; and her siblings, James Calvin Shemwell of Sharon Grove, Ruthelle Mayes of Elkton and Joyce Brooks of Louisville. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
