He was predeceased by: his wife Claudia Pearson; his sister Debbie Young; and his parents, Homer Pearson and Margie Pearson. He is survived by: his daughters, Christian Graham (Sean) of Jacksonville, FL, Jessica Burkeen (Jason) of Mayfield, KY and Valerie Nimmo (Jeremy) of Paducah, KY; his brothers, Gary Pearson (Sheila) of Wingo, KY and Kevin Pearson (Alisa) of Dublin, KY; and his stepmother Pat Pearson of Dublin, KY. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
