It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sandra Elaine Newman Dixon of Sebree, Kentucky, who passed away on January 13, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lyda Newman (Duncan) and Houston Newman; her grandson Oliver Dixon; her brother Roland Houston Newman; her grandparents, Arthur, Lillie Newman (Duncan), Henry and Mollie Duncan (Leslie); her father-in-law Lewis Dixon; her nephew Lewis Reed Lamb; her uncle Ronnie; and her aunt Sue Newman.
She is survived by: her husband Phillip Dixon of Sebree, Kentucky; her children, Evan Dixon (Abby) of Henderson, Kentucky and Mollie Popowski (Jayce) of Greenville, Kentucky; her sister Cleo Roberson of Springfield, Tennessee; her grandchildren, Eliza Dixon and Graham Dixon; her cousin John Newman (Susie); her mother-in-law Dean Dixon of Henderson, Kentucky; her siblings-in-law, Toby Dixon Poole (Greg) of Henderson, Kentucky and David Dixon (Rendy) of Henderson, Kentucky; her niece Clara Dixon of Louisville, Kentucky; and her nephews, Bry Roberson (Rebecca) of Greenbrier and Curt Roberson of Murfreesboro, Tennessee..
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home (604 Center St, Henderson, KY 42420). A memorial service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to Sandi's favorite charities, Habitat for Humanity of Henderson or St. Vincent De Paul Society of Henderson.
