He was predeceased by: his parents, William Groves and Mary Bell Groves; and his brothers, Jimmy and Darrell Groves. He is survived by: his wife Deanna Glore Groves of Sebree, KY; his children, Sarah Groves of Central City, KY, Alyssa Darnell of Sebree, KY and Phillip Groves of Sebree, KY; his sisters, Sue Stanley of Graham, KY, Alice Durall of Greenville, KY and Brenda Capps of Bremen, KY; and his granddaughter Cypress Mae Cardwell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
