He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Dempsey and Wilma Joyce Pryor; and his siblings, Jackie Pryor, Billy Pryor, James Pryor, Darrell Pryor and Susie Pryor.

He is survived by: his brothers, Roger Pryor (Carlene), Arnold Pryor (Judy) and Larry Pryor (Dorothy); and his sister-in-law Jean Pryor (late Billy Pryor). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
