He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Springer Wheat and Karene Harmon Wheat; and his sister Wilma Frost (Sonny). He is survived by: his wife Betty Lou Wheat of Scottsville, KY; his daughters, Jennifer Atwood (Todd) of Scottsville, KY and Patricia Keen (Steven) of Scottsville, KY; his brothers, Donnie Wheat (Gail) of Gallatin, TN and Darrel Wheat (Marilyn) of Scottsville, KY; his sister-in-law Betty Motley of Scottsville, KY; his grandchildren, Taryn Nichols (Rob), Brooke Wilson (Michael), Jaelyn Keen, Bradley Atwood (Kaeley) and Mason Keen; and his great grandchildren, Raegyn, Lincoln and Kellen Wilson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
