She was predeceased by: her parents, William Burl Owens and Margie Owens; her husband Howard Otto Whelchel; and her brother Gerald Owens. She is survived by: her sons, Kyle Whelchel of Scottsville, KY and Shane Whelchel (April) of Scottsville, KY; her sister Connie Owens Shields (Phillip) of Scottsville, KY; her grandchildren, Wil Whelchel (Taylor), Katie Whelchel and Lillie Estes (Frankie); and her great grandchildren, McKinley Whelchel, Peyton Whelchel and Rowan Estes.
