It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ricky Ramsey of Scottsville, Kentucky, born in Gallatin, Tennessee, who passed away on January 11, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frankie D. Ramsey and Martha Frances Carter; and his siblings, Sue Moore, Doug Spears, Carl Spears and Jennifer Simpson.
He is survived by: his wife Katie Sue Anderson Ramsey; his sons, Richard Lee Ramsey, Jr. (Monica) of Westmoreland, Paul Lee Ramsey (Carrie) of Lafayette and Tex Lee Ramsey (Shelia) of Scottsville, KY; his sister Debbie Biggers (Ricky) of Westmoreland; and his grandchildren, Caleb Ramsey, Ashton Ramsey, Ryan Ramsey, Paul Ramsey, Jr., Toni Sue Bell (Kyle), Makayla Ramsey, Jolene Boone, Carrie May Ramsey-Robinson (Koltan Robinson), Tex Ramsey, Jr. and Emily Ramsey. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sellars Family Heritage at Gallatin to assist the family with expenses.
