He was predeceased by: his parents, John Marvin "Johnny" Murray, Jr. and Elizabeth Mae Hughes Murray. He is survived by: his children, John Eric Murray of Scottsville, KY and Callie Ann Elizabeth Cardwell of Scottsville, KY; the mother of his children Donetta Logsdon of Scottsville, KY; his siblings, Timothy Joe Murray (Laura) of Franklin, KY, Jared Lynn Murray (Aubrey) of Edinberg, TX, Jason Dean Murray (Amanda) of Bowling Green, KY, Kimberly Frances Tomes (Rob) of Glasgow, KY, Joanie Lynn Ford (Daniel) of Scottsville, KY and Lindsay Jameson (Weston) of Scottsville, KY; and his granddaughter Charlotte Elizabeth Cardwell.
