She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Gilliam, Sr. and Lattie Lucille Johnston Gilliam; and her siblings, Alburn Gilliam, Clarence Gilliam, Jr., Adelle Douglas and Lucille Smith.
She is survived by: her husband James Smith of Scottsville, KY; her children, Greg Smith (Laura) of Charlotte, N. C. and Vicki Coleman (Ron) of Scottsville, KY; and her grandchildren, Syd, Greyson Smith, Avery, Alexa, Kalen and Meah Coleman. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
