He is survived by: his wife Mary Dillard Cherry of Scottsville, KY; his children, Joshua Newingham of Jerseyville, IL, Christopher Michael Shorter (Jennifer) of Tampa, FL and Gina Brouwer of Gallatin, TN; and his siblings, Kenneth Dale Cherry (Darnell) of McMinnville, TN, Marvin Dillard of Anniston, AL, Martin Dillard of Glasgow, KY, Beverly Jean Busbee (Paul) of Pensacola, FL, Margie Evans (R. J.) of Scottsville, KY and Martha Kinslow of Scottsville, KY. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild and Several nieces and nephews.
