He was predeceased by: his parents, Carline Piper and Addie Evelyn Dalton Piper; his siblings, Jimmy Neal Piper and Betty Jo Brooks; and his son-in-law Richie Cornwell.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Piper of Scottsville, KY; his children, Christy Renee Cornwell of Scottsville, KY, Brandi Nicole Piper Cox (Joseph Henson) of Scottsville, KY and Billy Clay Marsh (Angela) of Scottsville, KY; his siblings, Bud Piper of Scottsville, KY, Wayne Piper of Scottsville, KY, Donnie Piper (Faith) of Scottsville, KY, Kathleen Stephens (Dave) of Scottsville, KY, Barbara Scott (Billy Martin) of Scottsville, KY, Susie Williams (Arthur) of Tipton, IN and Don Stinson (Teresa) of Scottsville, KY; his grandchildren, Wesley Cornwell, Dillon Cornwell (Kenzie), Ethan Cox and Layten Marsh; and his great grandchild Piper Rae Cornwell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Goad Funeral Home (215 W Main St, Scottsville, KY 42164). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
