With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Joyce Petty of Scottsville, Kentucky, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by : her parents, Olen Becom West and Avie Arlin Rippy West; her husband Leon Roe Petty; her grandson Brandon Petty; and her son Kelly Petty.

She is survived by : her children, Kenneth Petty (Jill) of Lebanon, TN, Kevin Petty of Scottsville, KY and Kim Arnold (John) of Scottsville, KY; and her grandchildren, Darlena Bray (Tommy), Emily Green, Shena Graves (Daniel), April Smith (Joby), Sky Smith (Cody) and John Pendley (Emily).

Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 26th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, June 27th 2024 from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Goad Funeral Home (215 W Main St, Scottsville, KY 42164). A funeral service was held on Thursday, June 27th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
