The passing of John William Napier (Scottsville, Kentucky) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on April 5, 2025 at the age of 84. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Olga Wilson Napier and Mary Bessie Howell Napier; and his brother Luther Napier. He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Douglas Napier; his children, Doug Napier (Christy) and Jill Napier (Cary Calvert); his grandchildren, Samantha Napier Willoughby, Spencer Napier (Kaitlyn), Alex Newman, Nick Napier, Parker Stotts and Kole Manning; his great grandchildren, Austin Calvert, Gracelynn Willoughby, Camden Napier, Maddix Slaughter, Ryland Gillock, Navi Willoughby and Emery Napier; and his brother Paul Napier (Marietta). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM and from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mt. Union Methodist Church (6499 Mt Union Rd, Scottsville, KY 42164).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Gideons International or Mt. Union Methodist Church.
