It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Landrum Pitchford of Scottsville, Kentucky, who passed away on March 6, 2022, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Gordon Pitchford and Nell Landrum Pitchford; and his stepmother Dorothy Graham Pitchford. He is survived by: his wife Jodi Spears Pitchford of Scottsville, KY; his children, Eric Pitchford (Shannon) of Scottsville, KY and Tara Beth Varner (Brian) of Scottsville, KY; his stepdaughter Leigh Ann Fitzpatrick of Scottsville, KY; his mother-in-law Brenda Spears of Scottsville, KY; his brother Teddy Pitchford (Debbie) of Bowling Green, KY; his brother-in-law Jim Spears (Kim) of Scottsville, KY; his grandchildren, Erica Cockrill (Jarrett), Averie Pitchford, Austin Varner, Breann Varner and Lauren Schulten (Jay); his great grandchildren, Maddux Goff and Ryder Goff; and his nephews, Josh Pitchford (Shannon) of Cummings, GA and Justin Spears of Bowling Green, KY.
