He was predeceased by: his parents, James William Marsh, Sr. and Maxie Nell Kendall Marsh. He is survived by: his wife Carol Sapp Marsh of Scottsville, KY; his children, Justin Marsh of Scottsville, KY, Carey Marsh, Chris Towe of Scottsville, KY and Amy Marsh Clark (Austin) of Bowling Green, KY; his brothers, Tommy Marsh (Laura) of Brooksville, FL and Danny Marsh of Scottsville, KY; his grandchildren, Riley Marsh, James Cooper Marsh, Avy Clark and Autry Clark; and his stepgrandsons, Caleb Clark and Conner Clark.
