He is survived by: his wife Deena Hancock Wood of Scottsville, Kentucky; his children, Jason Wood (Lori) of Vancouver, Washington and Brandy Harwood (Trey) of Holland, Kentucky; and his grandchildren, Hunter Harwood of Scottsville, Emma Bryant (Tanner) of Williamsburg, Olivia Harwood of Bowling Green and Jacob Wood of Vancouver, Washington..
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 26th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Lakeway Baptist Church (4357 New Glasgow Rd, Scottsville, KY 42164). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lakeway Baptist Church Building Fund or Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.
