He is survived by: his children, Jerry Phillip Emmitt of Scottsville, KY, Johnny Lee Emmitt (Amy), Betsy Mae Overstreet (Lonnie) of Lafayette, TN and Melissa Gail Emmitt of Scottsville, KY; his siblings, Earl Gene Emmitt of Glasgow, KY, William Ray Emmitt (Betty) of Scottsville, KY and Louise James of Tampa, FL; his grandchildren, Matthew Overstreet, Dusty Overstreet, Aja Overstreet (Steven), Austin Overstreet, Zachary Emmitt (Kenzie), Seairah Danford (Tyler), Katelyn Emmitt, Brandon Emmitt, Nathaniel Overstreet, Jesse Overstreet, Ally Perry, Trevor Perry and Everleigh; and his great grandchildren, Malcolm Emmitt, Ryder James Durham, Jaxson Clay Durham, Ava Turner and Kenai Cornwell.
