She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Gillihan and Annie Clanbine Watson Gillihan; her husband Ernest Willis Gillihan; and her son Willie Ivan Gillihan. She is survived by: her daughters, Annie Morton (James) of Scottsville, KY, Lee Bissell of Scottsville, KY, Sue Ellen Gorman (Scott) of Tampa, FL and Brenda Wood of Waynesboro, TN. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
