It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Russell McDaniel of Scottsville, Kentucky, who passed away on August 16, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Henry McDaniel and Dortha Mae Roe McDaniel; his wife Anna Faye Hardcastle McDaniel; his sister Bonnie Faye Floyd (Jack); and his nephew Jack Allen.
He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Cynthia Floyd of Nashville, TN, Connie Allen of Gulf Port, MS, Cheree Bailey (Rob) of Nashville, TN, David Hardcastle of Scottsville, KY and Mark Hardcastle of Adolphus, KY; and his great-nephews, R. T. Bailey, Jacob Bailey, Will Bailey, Seth Hardcastle, Ian Hardcastle and Logan Hardcastle.
