With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Irene Martin of Scottsville, Kentucky, who passed away on August 5, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Virgil Dixon Bridgeman; her husband William Garnett Martin; her sons, Ricky, Billy and Jeff Martin; her grandchildren, Billy Martin, Walker Martin, Jeff Anderson and Scotty Anderson; and her siblings, Ralph Bridgeman, Doris Woods, Louise Harrison and Lois Dean Bridgeman.
She is survived by: her children, Anna Lois Cushenberry Bridgeman, Roger Martin (Lisa) of Scottsville, KY, Randy Martin of Scottsville, KY, Tracy Martin of Scottsville, KY, Charlotte Shields of Franklin, KY, Edna Brown of Scottsville, KY, Vonda Stinson of Scottsville, KY and Diane Witcher of Scottsville, KY. She is also survived by 31 grandchildren, 62 great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, expresssions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Hospice of Southern Kentucky. Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
