He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Chartier and Iola Batterton Chartier; his brother Bruce Chartier; and his half-brother Ray Chartier. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Mae Zeigler; his children, Mark Chartier (Sheri) of Scottsville, KY, Kirk Chartier of Scottsville, KY, Keith Chartier (Jenni) of Neeah, WI, Corby Bartelt of Scottsville, KY, Cristi Wetzel (Gary) of Scottsville, KY and Corine Louwsma (Jim) of Imlay City, WI; his sister Sharon Hagberg of Iron Mountain, MI; and his half-brother Randy Harvath. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; four-great grandchildren.
