She was predeceased by: her parents, Ransom T. "R. T." Holbrook and Thelma Ulysses Manis Larison; her husband James Preston McNeil Simms; her son Michael Ray Cain (Mitchell); and her siblings, Jimmy Holbrook, Bruce Holbrook, Roger Dale Holbrook, Ransom T. Holbrook, Jr. and Phyllis Cain.
She is survived by: her children, Tim Sims of Scottsville, KY, James Ray Sims of Scottsville, KY, Ransom Sims (Darlene) of Scottsville, KY, Delores Kay Bailey (Harry) of Scottsville, KY, Marsha Bailey (Johnny Meador) of Scottsville, KY, Alice Jackson (Dewayne) of Scottsville, KY, Thelma Sims of Scottsville, KY and Charlotte Cross of Glasgow, KY; and her sister Sondra Anne Meador (Clessie Allen) of Scottsville, KY. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and Several nieces and nephews.
