He was predeceased by: his parents, Raphel Rives, Jr. and Peggy Jean Jones Rives; and his sister Kelly Rives Prater. He is survived by: his wife Tracy Chandley Rives of Scottsville, KY; his sons, David Ervin Rives, Jr. (Ashley) of Scottsville, KY and Colton Dillon Rives (Jacey) of Scottsville, KY; his sister Teresa Rives Holmes (James) of Old Hickory, TN; and his grandchildren, Jovie Ann Rives, Jensen Mae Rives and Sonny Ray Rives.
