With profound sadness, we say goodbye to David Calvert Jr. of Scottsville, Kentucky, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, William David Calvert, Sr. and Virginia Frances Dodson Calvert; his son Eric Calvert; and his brother Phil Calvert. He is survived by: his daughter Sheila Marr (Michael) of Scottsville, KY; his grandchildren, Jamie Brumley (Brian), JoBeth Shockley (Corey), Amanda Woods (Andy), Dustin Calvert and Jesse Calvert; his stepgrandson Aaron Marr (Tori); his great grandchildren, Alden Brumley, Parker Brumley, Avery Shockley, Bodey Shockley, Madelyn Shockley, Silas Woods, Kaden Woods and Henley Calvert; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Aubree, Brentleigh, Skyler, Kyra and Payton Marr; and his great great grandchild Rylen Kinslow.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Crescent Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Alzheimer's Association. Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
