He was predeceased by: his parents, James Bransford Calvert and Lela Belle Jones Calvert; his wife Sue Turner Calvert; and his siblings, James Jr. Calvert and Helen Van Houten.
He is survived by: his children, Joey Wayne Calvert of Scottsville, KY, Mark Jay Calvert of Scottsville, KY, Shannon Warren of Scottsville, KY and Leanne Calvert-Barnes (Joseph) of Scottsville, KY; his sister Terry Bratcher of Columbia, KY; his grandchildren, Miranda Cardona (Luis), Bevan Warren, Taylor Gustafson, Harrsion Hurd, Spencer Hurd and Angel Robinson; and his great grandchild Abigail Nava-Warren. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
