It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Hanner of Scottsville, Kentucky, who passed away on December 3, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom Stone Blankenship and Allie Lee Jent Blankenship; and her siblings, Dennis, Elmer Dean, Floyd, Earl Gene, Willard, Jerry Donald Blankenship, Lillie Ruth Blankenship, Lottie Estell Blankenship, Velma Morgan and Georgia Fowler.
She is survived by: her husband Eugene Hanner of Scottsville, KY; her children, Michael Hanner of Scottsville, KY, Daniel Hanner (Tara) of Glasgow, KY and Patricia Hanner (Debbie) of Scottsville, KY; her sisters, Sarah Fox of Apalachian, NY and Brenda Shumway of Orange County, VA; her sisters-in-law, Patty Blankenship of Morgantown, KY and Jean Hanner of Scottsville, KY; her grandchildren, A. J., Trace and Karcy Hanner; her sister-in-law Hope Gregory; and also Duke. She is also survived by 2 great grandchildren; Several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Oak Forest No.1.
